A Train More Play Less Organization

AMERICANS BASEBALL SEASON OUTLINE

It is our goal to maintain a balance between competition and experiences that will last the duration of your player’s life. The bond and friendships built will last well beyond many of these kid’s baseball playing days. We will set schedules and competition based on the expected skill set of each age group. As a member of the travel ball community, we will compete within the locally sanctioned tournaments and will participate in scrimmages. During the course of the year, you will be required to participate in an event that may require an overnight stay. Our goal is to slowly build these experiences from year to year to best suit the expected team and individual environment for their age group.

We will still practice 3-4 times per week. Our goal is to maintain what we built in the off-season. Our in-season work will follow our off-season work. The only difference will be the amount and intensity in certain areas.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM

It is our goal to find a balance between competition and working on ourselves. We want our players to be ready for High School and to go back to High School better than they left. Coaches are expected to build a relationship with our players High School coaches. We will discuss the area of improvements needed. We want to create a balance between tournaments, showcases, and training. We feel exposure and game repetitions are important but we also feel this should be the time players work on their weaknesses so they can become better players for future opportunities. We want to minimize our player’s weaknesses so they can play this sport for a long time.
